My View on Outer Space Exploration

Since the first landing on the moon, men have never lost their enthusiasm for outer space exploration. Billions of funds have been spent , quite some lives have been sacrificed, and meanwhile secrets of the universe have been gradually discovered, However, people’s view on outer space exploration differs greatly.

Some people think it is meaningless to allocate large budget to study such issues as whether there are other intelligent beings in outer space. In contrast, others argue that it is worthwhile to invest time and money into the scientific research of outer space because it can help us understand the universe better.

From my perspective, it is necessary to continue to exploring outer space because what we learn in outer space can influence the future of the earth. The more we know about the universe, the better we can understand our position as human beings in this planet where we live and thus live harmoniously with nature.

自從第一次登上月球，人類從未失去過探索外太空的熱情。數(shù)以億計(jì)的資金已投入其中，一些人的生命也已為此犧牲，同時(shí)宇宙的秘密已逐漸地被發(fā)現(xiàn)。然而，人們對于探索外太空的看法大不相同。

一些人認(rèn)為撥出大量預(yù)算來研究“外太空有沒有智能生命”是沒有意義的。相反，另外一些人爭辯說向外太空的科研投入時(shí)間和金錢是值得的，因?yàn)檫@可以幫助我們更好地認(rèn)識宇宙。

在我看來，有必要繼續(xù)探索外太空，因?yàn)槲覀冊谕馓罩袑W(xué)到的東西會(huì)影響地球的未來。我們對宇宙認(rèn)識越多，就越能理解我們作為人類在我們生活的星球上的位置，從而能與自然和諧相處。
